New obligations for solar installers and retailers from 1st April 2022

The Renewable Energy Certificates (REC) Registry has provided an update on changes to obligations for solar agents, retailers, installers, and designers effective from 1st April 2022.

CHANGES FOR solar retailers

From 1 April 2022, there is a new requirement for solar retailers to provide their agent with a written statement including information on the installer and the system. More information about these requirements can be found on the Clean Energy Regulator (the agency website), as well as a sample form for retailers indicating the information that will need to be provided to their agent.
