RFI worked with partner Technics Communication & Electronics (TCE) Singapore to provide Multicoupling Systems for the first phase of a large-scale public safety network upgrade in Bangladesh.
RFI has decades of experience in delivering multicoupling systems for public safety networks across the Asia Pacific region.
What was different this time? With a unique set of challenges including an extremely short customer deadline, that was further exacerbated by a range of restrictive COVID workplace settings in our Victorian manufacturing facilities, in addition to global supply chain deficiencies.
Despite working from one of the world’s most locked-down cities, Melbourne, our manufacturing and engineering teams worked incredibly hard to manufacture, tune, stage, and deliver the project on schedule, whilst ensuring that normal service levels are maintained for other orders on hand over this period.
Working closely with our partner, Technics Communication & Electronics (TCE) Singapore, to design a customised multicoupling system, that met the specific requirements of the end customer.
For this first phase of this major project (83 sites) an entire container of multicoupling equipment including; expandable series combiner multicouplers, receiver pre-selectors, receiver multicouplers, and peg racks was shipped.
